Inhoud van deze sessie

Ondanks het indrukwekkende zaagvermogen van de kettingzaag, is het mogelijk om veilig met dit toestel te werken op voorwaarde dat de machine in goede staat is, dat je de nodige beschermingsmiddelen gebruikt en een aantal precieze regels respecteert.

Tournevie biedt je een dagvullende cursus kettingzaag veiligheid aan om je te leren deze regels systematisch toe te passen. Na deze cursus zal je in staat zijn om op een veilige en ergonomische manier met de kettingzaag te werken.

Deze of een gelijkaardige opleiding (ECS 1, zie onder) is verplicht om de kettingzaag van Tournevie te gebruiken

De volgende onderwerpen komen tijdens de cursus aan bod:

  • Uitrusting: controle van de veiligheidsfuncties van de kettingzaag, persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen

  • Veilige werkomgeving, werkvoorbereiding, startprocedure

  • Werkmethode, houding, volgorde van de snedes in hout onder spanning

De scholing omvat theoretische uitleg zowel als praktische oefeningen op horizontale en verticale stammetjes met verschillende soorten zagen, teneinde veilige werkmethoden aan te leren, je controle over de zaag te verbeteren en te wennen aan een aantal specifieke technieken zoals ontmoetende of instekende snedes.

Opmerking: deze cursus behandelt de onderwerpen beschreven in de European Chainsaw Standard niveau 1, hoofdstukken §1, 2A, 2D, 2E, 3, 4, 6 (zie link).

Het certificaat dat je aan het einde van de training krijgt, is echter enkel een deelname-certificaat en geen ECC-certificaat. Voor een ECC-certificaat moet je slagen voor een test tegen betaling. Als je wenst deel te nemen aan de cursus ter voorbereiding van een ECC-test, gelieve thomas@tournevie.be te contacteren om dit te bespreken.

Opleidingen over kettingzaag onderhoud en over het scherpen van de ketting zijn eveneens beschikbaar op aanvraag.

Kost

€180: dit bedrag dekt de kosten voor hout, brandstof, kettingzagen en beschermingskledij, de instructeur en de lunch.

Voorkennis vereist?

Ervaring is niet strikt noodzakelijk. Al het materiaal is voorzien. Minstens 18 jaar oud.

En quoi consiste cette session ?

Malgré sa capacité de coupe étonnante, l'emploi de la tronçonneuse thermique peut se faire en toute sécurité, à condition de disposer d'une machine bien entretenue, de se munir des équipements de protection nécessaires et de suivre un nombre de consignes bien précises.

Tournevie propose une journée entière de formation à l'emploi de la tronçonneuse, pendant laquelle vous apprendrez à appliquer systématiquement ces consignes. Fort de cette expérience, vous serez capable de manier une tronçonneuse de façon sûre et ergonomique.

Cette formation ou un autre formation équivalente (ECS 1, voir ci-dessous) est une condition pour l’emprunt de la tronçonneuse de Tournevie.

La formation couvre les sujets suivants:

  • Équipement: contrôle des dispositifs de sécurité de la tronçonneuse, équipements de protection individuelle

  • Environnement de travail sûr, préparation à l'utilisation, procédure de démarrage

  • Pratiques de coupe sûres, y compris en cas de bois sous tension

La formation comporte des explications théoriques ainsi qu’une série d’exercices pratiques sur billons horizontaux et verticaux avec plusieurs modèles de tronçonneuse, afin de vous imprimer les pratiques sûres, d'améliorer votre maîtrise de la machine et de vous familiariser avec des techniques spécifiques comme les coupes convergentes et plongeantes.

Remarque: ce cours couvre les sujets décrits dans la norme European Chainsaw Standard niveau 1, chapitres §1, 2A, 2D, 2E, 3, 4, 6 (voir lien).

Cependant, le certificat que vous recevez à la fin de la formation est juste un certificat de participation et non pas un certificat ECC. Le certificat ECC requiert le passage d'un test payant. Des formations concernant l'entretien de la machine et l'affûtage de la chaîne sont également disponibles sur demande.

What is this session all about?

In spite of its impressive cutting power, operating a chainsaw can be quite safe, as long as your machine is well maintained, you use adequate protective equipment and you follow a set of precise rules.

Tournevie offers you a full-day course in chainsaw safety, during which you will learn to systematically apply those rules. After this course, you’ll be able to handle a chainsaw in a safe and ergonomic way.

This course or an equivalent one (ECS 1, see below) is a condition for being allowed to lend out a petrol chainsaw from Tournevie.

The training will cover the following topics:

  • Equipment: check of chainsaw safety features, personal protective equipment

  • Safe working environment, preparation for use, starting procedure

  • Safe cutting practices, including cutting sequence for wood under tension

The training consists of theoretical explanations as well as practical exercises on horizontal and vertical logs with different types of saws, allowing you to embed safe working practices, improve your control over the saw, and get used to specific techniques such as meeting cuts and plunge cuts.

Please note: This course covers the topics detailed in European Chainsaw Standard level 1, chapters §1, 2A, 2D, 2E, 3, 4, 6 (see link).

However, the certificate you will get at the end of the training is merely proof of participation and not an ECC certificate. The ECC certificate requires taking a test which is subject to a fee. If you want to follow the course to prepare for an ECC test, please get in touch with thomas@tournevie.be to discuss this.
